About the role

As a Lead, you will work closely with the Manager to support the day-to-day running of the service, while also providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs.

You will lead and support a team of six Floating Support Workers who deliver housing-related support to our customers. Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the housing management of our shared accommodation sites, playing a key role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the service is delivered to a high standard.

Other duties include:

  • Provide support around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse issues and other complex needs. 
  • Assisting with sustaining and securing suitable accommodation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Developing your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies
  • Monitoring the safety of the shared accommodation sites including maintenance, Fire safety and daily standard checks

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise.
  • Ability to assess risk and propose risk management strategies.
  • A passion and commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Organisation and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A non-judgmental and empathetic approach

Repairs Scheduler (Maternity Cover)

Join us as a Repairs Scheduler and help keep our repairs service moving. This is a temporary opportunity covering maternity leave until 30th July 2027, based in Torfaen.
