About the role

This is a Project Worker role based in our Supported Accommodation Scheme, Woodstock House, Abergavenny.  We have a team of Lead Project Workers, Project Workers and Accommodation Coordinator providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers. 

Working in a team you will provide support to young people experiencing homelessness, alongside complex needs such as alcohol/substance misuse, mental health and offending behaviour. With the aim to provide a housing solution, which involves offering housing related support to assist the service users to gain independence & move into their own tenancy.  

Skills and Experience Needed 

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential. 
  • For the role it is essential to hold a UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle.
  • A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
  • An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

Repairs Scheduler (Maternity Cover)

Join us as a Repairs Scheduler and help keep our repairs service moving. This is a temporary opportunity covering maternity leave until 30th July 2027, based in Torfaen. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our service- scheduling work, supporting customers, and making sure our engineers are in the right place at the right time. We offer a 9 day fortnight with compressed hours, and hybrid working (with regular office time required).
