About the role

Working closely with the Director of Legal & Governance, you'll play a key role in bringing conveyancing services in-house and establishing the foundations for a successful, customer-focused service. You'll manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters relating to shared ownership and outright sales, while working alongside colleagues across Development, Sales and other teams to support a seamless customer journey from reservation through to completion.

You'll also help develop effective processes, systems and service standards, monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and value for money.

Skills and experience needed

We're looking for someone with significant experience in residential conveyancing, including managing cases from inception through to completion. Experience of working on large residential development schemes is essential.

A qualification as a Solicitor or CILEx professional, with post-qualification experience, would be desirable. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate substantial relevant conveyancing experience and the technical expertise needed to succeed in the role.

You'll have excellent technical knowledge, strong commercial awareness and the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. We're looking for someone who can balance attention to detail with a practical approach to problem-solving, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and compliance. Experience of leading a conveyancing team, implementing new processes or working within the housing sector would be advantageous.
